The President of Renk Mining Consulting & Associates, Udo Helmut Renk, P.Eng. has more than 40 years of coal mining experience around the world (Germany, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Czech Republic, Canada, Russia, Kazakhstan and Colombia). His experience extends across all surface and underground mining methods.
He has been responsible for mine development and extension projects, which included large scale operational mine projects (e.g. shaft sinking, development of new reserve blocks). His operational experience is proven in relation to underground coal mine management. He has shown his commitment to world-class safety and exceptional production results during his operational career.
Currently Mr. Renk is registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia and and Nova Scotia. Aside of these Canadian registrations Mr. Renk is also registered as a APEC/IPEA Engineer with Engineers Canada. Additionally he is a certified Underground Coal Mine Manager in Alberta and British Columbia.
